Joyce Roberts, Resident Manager
Joyce graduated from Rhode Island College in 1983 with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education. She taught for six years (1983-1989) as a preschool teacher at The Children's Center, then held the position of Head Teacher for 13 years (1989-2002) at WonderKids before leaving to take the position of Resident Manager at ECC in August, 2001. Joyce enjoys knitting and has a love of animals. She has recently taken up snowshoeing around the ECC property. Joyce started coming to ECC at the age of 9. She was a camper from 1969-1975, counselor 1976-1978, Young Adult Staff 1979-1980 and the Director of Younger Children's Camp from 2000 to the present.

Lance Roberts, Property Manager
Lance took on the position of Property Manager at ECC in July, 2002. In 1985 he started his own landscape, construction and tree service business. The business has grown into an excavation/construction business concentrating in septic installation and site preparation. He attended Rhode Island Junior College for machine tool processes in 1980. Lance was raised on a farm much like ECC, growing up with the philosophy of "if it breaks you fix it or fabricate a new one", thus the development of his mechanical ability and skills. He attended ECC as a camper in 1968, later a counselor from 1978-1980. He volunteered as a member of the Adult Visiting Staff at ECC for several years as a work project leader and weekend chaperone before accepting the position of Property Manager.
