Taizé

The Taizé Community is an ecumenical Christian monastic order in Taizé,France. It is comprised of a little over 100 brothers who come from Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant traditions. Over 100,000 young people from around the world make pilgrimages to Taizé each year for prayer, Bible study, sharing, and communal work.

The Diocese of Rhode Island sponsors a Taizé prayer service at the Cathedral of St. John on the second Sunday of each month at 4:00pm, and takes a group of young adults on an annual Pilgrimage to the community in France.
