Happening is an intense weekend experience for the spiritual growth of high school students

Happening in Rhode Island sponsors two weekends per year, in the Spring and Fall. It is a lay movement, with strong clergy support, the major planning and conducting of the weekend being the work of young people who have experienced Happening.

Happening is an experience that seeks to bring young people to a fuller knowledge of a relationship with Jesus Christ and to a deeper level of commitment and apostleship.

This once in a lifetime experience is for any teen in the 10th, 11th and/or 12th grade. It's exciting, fun, full of joy and meaning - It's a weekend to experience God's love in a very special way.

The next Happening weekend will be MAY 2-4, 2008 at the LaSalette Retreat Center in Attleboro, Ma. The weekend begins on Friday at 6pm and ends Sunday at 5:30pm after Eucharist. An application for this weekend may be downloaded in PDF format.
Deadline for applications will be April 18th. The total cost of this weekend is $125 with a $25 non-refundable deposit.
