Taizé Prayer is a regular part of the spiritual life of the Diocese, with services scheduled at the Cathedral of St John on the second Sunday of each month at 4:00PM. This experience of music, meditation, silence and intercessory prayer, modeled after the Taizé Community in France, draws young adults, youth groups, clergy and laity for a contemplative experience of worship. The Diocese has sponsored three pilgrimages for young adults to the Taizé Community, and hosted a Taizé Meeting in 2000 for the dioceses in New England.
