Funds to support the mission and ministry of the Bishop's Office and other diocesan programs are collected from each church according to an Apportionment formula applied to a definition of income approved by convention.

For the three-year period covered by the Diocesan Budget, the Apportionment percentage is set at 17.5% of Normal Operating Income (less certain deductions) as reported on the Parochial Report for the second preceding year: i.e. 2007 income is used to establish 2009 Apportionment, 2008 to set 2010, etc.
