Our 229th Diocesan Convention will be held Friday and Saturday, November 8 and 9, 2019, at St. Luke’s Church in East Greenwich.
|Registration is open for the 229th Rhode Island Diocesan Convention!|
The Presiding Bishop’s Reconciliation with Creation Care is a core value of the Episcopal Church. We want to do our part in the Diocese of Rhode Island by keeping the practices we adopted last year for convention by:
- Keeping paper to a minimum once again. There will be only one paper ballot for the election of General Convention deputies. There will not be folders with papers for you at registration.
- Lunch will contain a minimum of paper waste and a maximum of locally sourced and produced food.
- A separate email will be sent with convention materials for you to save to your electronic device or to print.
| If you want to have paper copies of convention-related materials, we ask|
that you print your own copies. Please be mindful of the fact that internet
access is very limited in this area of East Greenwich.
If this is your first time to serve as a Delegate, we encourage you to
discuss your responsibilities with your clergy person and other
delegates. Please do not hesitate to contact the Bishop’s Staff at any time if we may be of assistance to you.
