Center for Reconciliation Virtual Vigil

Please join the Center for Reconciliation for a virtual vigil for racial justice, peace, and reconciliation in honor of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Tony McDade, and all those killed by anti-Black racism.

The Rt. Rev. W. Nicholas Knisely, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island, will host the vigil, joined by community leaders including Imam Farid Ansari of the Muslim American Dawah Center of Rhode Island; Rabbi Sarah Mack of Temple Beth-El, Providence; Jim Vincent, President of NAACP Providence Branch; and the Rt. Rev. Dr. Jeffery A. Williams, Bishop of The King’s Cathedral, Providence.

The vigil will take place on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 5:00–6:00 pm EST via Zoom. Registration via Eventbrite is appreciated but not necessary.

All participants are invited to have a candle with them to light during the program. Participants may join either via video call or phone call.
