Children and Youth Ministry
Christian Formation is a life-long experience of living out your baptismal covenant. The Diocese offers many resources for children and youth which support this journey of our life in God.
There are many ways for children and youth to meet and gather with other young people across the state. Families, children and youth counselors can spend summer weeks at the Episcopal Conference Center (ECC). ECC also hosts winter weekend camps for youth and Happening sessions, a spiritual retreat for young people.
We are also join together for several Diocesan-wide youth events each year, including the 30-Hour Famine, a Nightwatch trip to NYC, a Diocesan Convention Youth Overnight, and more. Please email the Rev. Meaghan Kelly Brower for more information, and visit our Diocesan calendar to learn more about what’s happening.
Most of our congregations offer Christian formation programs for children and several have active youth ministry programs. Call your local congregation or visit their website for more information.
