Bishop Knisely was honored to participate in a Memorial Service for homeless persons who died during 2020. The annual event, postponed from January due to Covid, was organized by the Rhode Island Coalition to End Homelessness. The event featured prayer, song, poetry, dance and a reading of names. Volunteers from the organization had clothing available for those in need, and handed out lunches, masks, and hand sanitizer.

It is feared that many more people will become homeless in the coming months, and the current pandemic makes an already precarious existence even more dangerous. Please remember those who have died, those who are still with us, and those who work to help them in your prayers.
